Since 1988, we have put in place a system for collecting spontaneous ideas. We are among the first in France to have put value on ingenuity and our collaborators’inventiveness. We are convinced that their contribution makes the company more competitive.”

Sparkling Rendez-vous : What advice would you give to a company willing to lance themselves into a similar adventure ?

“It’s essential to honor each contributor and contribution and take each idea to its probable end. We do our best to apply “the good ideas” and, when possible, the idea initiator carries out the project until the end.

Moreover, to reward its collaborators’ creativity, Aéroports de Paris, in collaboration with ADEME*, created in 2009 a Sustainable Label to reward the eco-friendly actions in the company.”

Sparkling Rendezvous: what other ideas lead to success?

« The participative process tends to easily run out of breath. So, one must be on top of encouraging participation althrough the year with communication actions and events. And, of course, it’s fundamental that the company top and middle management are obviously there with us at every step.”

PS: On Saturday March 28, 2015 at 8.30 p.m. local time, millions of people around the world will switch off the light for one hour to celebrate their engagement for the planet. In 2014, 7000 towns and 167 countries were there, so let’s do even better this year!

- I allow myself to have some breathing room and take full advantage of this free time

- I laugh, dream, play, relax and allow my imagination to tickle my fancy which opens doors to totally new perspectives

- I value quality over quantity. I feel free to choose what makes me happy. I accept to let some possibilities go in order to better achieve the essential

- I try to be more in reflection than in reaction. That gives me the time to think strategically, to reorganize my spirit and to make plans creatively

- I am kind to myself and accept my personal rhythm. I renew myself in nature and that opens my perceptions

- I don’t go too fast so that changes can take place. I tend to be flexible and capable of changing my agenda to fit in a totally new passion!

- I always explore outside the gates and embrace my fulfilling life with my body, soul and mind.

Indians light rows of clay lamps outside their homes to symbolize the triumph of light over darkness. Diwali in 2014 will start on the 23rd of October and will continue for 5 days.

My idea for us, Dear Future Shapers, is to be inspired by Diwali and to build our own creativity ritual so we can have our own auspicious center for creation.

On the first day, people spring clean their homes.

What do we need to clear out to let the flow of ideas come to you? That can be clear out our desk, move to a quiet place, forget our project constraints for the moment….

On the second day, Indians decorate their homes with lights and design rangoli on the floor with colored powders or sand; those designs are meant to welcome visitors.

Here, let’s find a little something that will make us tune up with our creative mindset. A music, a toy, a picture, a mantra?

The third day is the main day of the Festival; Indian families gather together to pray to Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth. They thank her for the last harvest before winter and pray for a new prosperous year. They share sweets, flowers, fireworks and bonfires.

It’s time now to welcome brilliant ideas and fellow Future Shapers to enjoy the process of creation: switch on the lights and be open to sweetness.

Day 4 is the first day of the New Year and Indians offer gifts and best wishes to their friends.

This fourth step could be a nice opportunity to share our new ideas with our coworkers and to get some feedback.

On the last day, sisters welcome their brothers at their homes with a lavish meal.

Let’s change this scenario!

Go beyond your barriers ! Stretch beyond your confort zone ! Learn to know yourself better; embrace lovingly your good and bad sides. Act from your best side with deep confidence in yourself and in life.

Be open and free. If something doesn’t work, try and try again. As a baby, did you give up on walking because you didn’t succeed the first time? So, pursue your important goals. You don’t have all the solutions or all the answers and you’re not afraid to say it.

You are brave enough to make your own original choices and to dare to launch yourself. Bubble with enthusiasm! Take risks and understand that failure can also lead to success! Have fun in the game of life and stay faithful to your values!

Initiate change! Delight in this new feeling of liberty! When a crisis hits, remain in a happy state of mind, shout out: “And now the fun begins!” You’re ready to deal with new and exciting challenges.

Persevere and have in mind this Arab proverb: “Don’t let go, you’ll risk quitting two seconds before a miracle happens.” Congratulations, you are there!

Dear Future Shapers, do you enjoy Sparkling Rendezvous, why not forward it to your friends?

To carefully prepare your meeting is essential for success: fully understand and express the challenge that the creative group is going to take in hand. The facilitator chooses a diversified group of participants who will be motivated to respond with a great number of ideas. He creates carefully how he will animate the meeting by using his palet of tools which, at Le Creativ’ Center, would act on cognitive, sensorial, fun, artistic and other registers. Each creative meeting is unique and so personalized.

The big day has arrived; actors on the starting blocks, good humor and positive spirit abound ! We plunge directly to the heart of the objective. Today, bisociation is our porte of entry. Each participant gets inspiration from a card pulled out of a hat to propose solutions. The magic of this tool invented by Arthur Koestler comes by the confrontation between two very different worlds.

The meeting continues to surprise with the dynamic use of numerous tools that act as catalysts for new ways of thinking. Oups! Only two hours have passed but already hundreds of varied ideas have spontaneously appeared among us.

Now is time for selection and each participant chooses the three ideas that seem to him to be the most pertinent and original. Ways to creative solutions are put on the road by the group: other researches will be led later on that are necessary to put in motion the most appropriate solutions.

What a beautiful, creative and dynamic adventure has been shared!

To express our unique talent is the key to being in our rightful professional place. What unique and precious contribution may I bring forth to this world? By clarifying this, I can be a more efficient actor of change.

It is in this vein that Le Creativ’ Center coaches people through their professional evolution projects with a personalized process of creative reflection and openness.
